Nonetheless, certain oversized vehicles (Gold-Wing, PAN-EUROPEAN, Quads & ATC, SSV, Spyder Canam, Trikes, YAMAHA Niken, YAMAHA XVS 1300 STAR, BMW BAGGER ,C1), Harley-Davidsons (fully cowled, Glides, King) and low-slung vehicles (MotoGuzzi California, el Dorado,Victory, Indian, Side-Cars, Choppers, Dragsters, Trikes, etc.) cannot be accepted and are therefore unavailable for selection on our website.
- I just placed an order but will not be present at the pick-up location. What arrangements should I make?
In this case, you should forward your order confirmation to the person who will be present and ask them to bring proof of identity.
- Should I take out ad valorem insurance for my motorbike ?
You have the option to take out, through CAT LC France, an "all risks ad valorem" insurance policy in return for an additional fee (tickbox provided for this on the Site).
The purpose of the "all risks ad valorem" insurance policy is to compensate you in the event of total loss or damage to a package, regardless of the cause, up to the value you have declared.
If you do not subscribe to this policy, in the event of total loss or damage to a package, the compensation owed to you by CAT LC France shall be limited to the compensation ceilings set out in Article 12.2 of the T&Cs.
- My motorbike has just been delivered and I have noticed that it has been damaged. What steps should I take?
You should make a note of your reservations on the delivery note presented by the driver and send a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 48 hours to the following address:

Whether you are a professional or individual, you can cancel your order by sending an email to motobycat@groupecat.com.
This cancellation must be received by CAT LC France within seven calendar days of the order being confirmed and on the condition that transport operations have not yet begun.
You should provide the number of the order being cancelled and attach a bank document showing the IBAN and BIC/SWIFT codes of your bank account.
A transfer of the amount of the cancelled order shall be made via the details shown on the bank document.
- I have problems when trying to enter the departure or arrival location
JCheck the spelling of the location that you are looking up: all the towns in France are listed in the MOTObyCAT database.
- I want to have my motorbike picked up or delivered abroad. Is this possible?
No, MOTObyCAT only accommodates transport within Mainland France, Corsica and Belgium.
- I want to have my motorbike picked up from or delivered to a Motorbike Collection Point. Is this possible ?
Since summer 2011, MOTObyCAT has offered customers the chance to deliver or collect their vehicle at a Motorbike Collection Point. In this case, when the quote or order is being prepared, the site will suggest a number of collection points near my pick-up or delivery location. If you wish to use this facility, select MOTObyCAT COLLECTION POINT on the page to prepare the quote.
